Yes indeed this is inexcusable if it was really deleted: the MpF website is part of NASA's history, this mission having paved the way for the following Mars missions at JPL, for engineering, science and Internet issues.
This MpF website should have been considered as an US National Landmark just for the history of the Internet alone as the Press stated then: "Mars Landing Signals Defining Moment for Web Use".

But, thanks to IKI, which was then JPL's partner for the Internet mirror site in Russia, the whole MpF site is still viewable at:
http://www.iki.rssi.ru/mpfmirror/default.html

I'm afraid that there will be no longer two sites for each mission: these new ones include features from the old JPL sites such as the whole "raw images" sections.

As you may have noticed yesterday, there was a major update on both Curiosity and Perseverance NASA websites which share now the same visual architecture.
==>> However and maybe I'm wrong, but the "Where is Curiosity ?" and "Where is Perseverance ?" online maps have disappeared!
Has anyone found them elsewhere ?

Sol 4106: the Curiosity rover took a series of pictures showing the Martian sky.
At the top of all the images it looks like the same stars.
Or maybe that they are bad pixels?
An opinion?

Yes, it’s worth it: but it’s going to be a huge task.
Summarizing a mission Sol by Sol is a tedious work and I have already experienced it many times.
Have courage!
