Unmanned Spaceflight.com _ Titan _ Iss Nature Paper

Posted by: volcanopele Mar 9 2005, 07:07 PM

In the March 10 issue of the Journal Nature, there is an article by the ISS team on their observations of Titan up to Tb. CICLOPS has released some images related to that new paper, you can find them on my http://volcanopele.blogspot.com or at http://ciclops.lpl.arizona.edu/view_event.php?id=15.

If you would like a copy of the paper, let me know. Due to copywrite issues I can't post it on my blog but as a co-author I can email it to those who request it.

why does titan have such a strange shape in Fig. 5?

one of the processing steps I go through trims by emission angle. So the strange shape is due to the terminator being there.
