Not sure if the results are as good as I was expecting - but hey - I'm sure Dr Parker will pull a blinder and produce something a LOT better in due course.

Great image.

There are lots of images of Spirit's heatshield taken on Sol 85

I wondered if they were inteding to produce a super-res image when i saw them all.

Ooo - heatshield - I'll try that tomorrow.

I emailed Dr Tim Parker (the man who's job I want Sooooo badly, pity I'm in the wrong industry, wrong country, wrong continent biggrin.gif ) - saying "here's my super res stuff and it's crap. Where's yours?"
