Saw some new books (well, new to me) in the bookstore yesterday about Mars geology. They are part of the planetary sciences series by Cambridge University press. I'm sure some of you here would be interested if you don't already know...
The Geology of Mars
Evidence from Earth-Based Analogs

The Surface of Mars
http://www.cambridge.org/catalogue/catalogue.asp?isbn=9780521872010
Both books sound fantastic. So I went over to Amazon to order. Ouch! They are both http://www.amazon.com/Surface-Mars-Cambridge-Planetary-Science/dp/0521872014/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-3853556-4811308?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1180883901&sr=1-1 . Can anyone here provide a trustworthy review before I plop down that kind of money?
