I will be taking the opportunity (no pun intended) of Solar Conjunction to fly to Italy and the UK to give a series of talks about my work on MER and MSL (mostly MSL). Paolo

If you've not been to the RSC before you'll love it Paolo!
I'd get down to it as I'm only an hour and a bit away by train, but I'm doing a PhD viva that day - I suppose I can rush it ;-)
I see the event is advertised on their website at
http://www.rsc.org/ConferencesAndEvents/conference/alldetails.cfm?evid=113187
though annoyingly it doesn't (as far as I can see anyhow) get a mention in their monthly Chemistry World magazine (or the accompanying news/events mag) even though the former does have a big article on Curiosity's chemistry capabilities/results under their "jobs in chemistry" type section!

Ciao Paolo, congrats for your activities (I will try to hear your Rome presentation). Today, the italian radiophonic science program "Radio3 scienza" dedicated the entire issue to Cuoriosity and its internet/social-media followers, with interviews to Paolo and Doug E. too!
