I got a lot of entries....The last one is kinda pathetic, but I couldn't get Gimp to work right with the transparency.

Someone with better skillz should redo this one right!

The real reason why Spirit is driving with 5 wheels now.

I am surprised, just surprised that NOBODY thought of taking cans of Lipovan and stacking them all over Spirit's solar panels...

Some other captions that I didn't have time to do:

SFR - ISO SMR Must love sunsets, rocks, and hiking #311
Tetris blocks

Posted by: Phil Stooke Apr 17 2006, 01:30 PM

SFR - good one, hendric!

"All your base.... Surrender Dorothy.... Chess... Das Parking Boot.... SFR...."
Every one a gem! I am proud to be part of this board!
And now, one for Doug:

Posted by: dvandorn Apr 18 2006, 05:45 AM

As I read that last one, what went through my mind was:

"Dust devils don't clean solar panels. People clean solar panels."

...dust devils may not clean solar panels:

And a little aside, the funniest bumper sticker I ever saw was colored bright red with the words "If this is blue, you're going too fast". You know that only a certain group of drivers on a given day will get that one wink.gif

Posted by: Phil Stooke Apr 19 2006, 03:02 AM

odave, I really wish I had thought of that dust devil one. Very good!

As for Bob... when I saw the first version of that post I thought - either this guy is a genius, or he's an idiot. Now I know which it is!

Phil

Posted by: AndyG Apr 19 2006, 03:47 PM

"Lo!", said G'nik to the throng, who had gathered now that the crushing beast had stopped, "Verily she eats her food through these. Bring forth more dust. And holy screwdrivers that we might prise them off!"

"You said," shouted Clython to the roar of the local astronomical community,"that the chances of anything coming from Earth were a million-to-one. And yet..."

OK... I'd done these a loooong time ago, just post-EDL. And they're not dirt writings but thought I'd pass them along anyway.
