I saw the Shuttle launch from the apartment complex here in Orange Park, FL. It looked like a large firework, and it was an amazing site.

Yes its very noticable that the tracks get less defined as you go back in sols. I guess eventually they will dissappear from MRO's view ?

All of the dust would not be blown away if it was electrostatically stuck to the rover deck, that peice of string is proberly very very light weight. Also it does seem to have scratched some dust away.

Sounds like they may just need to get the antenna folded, then re dock.

""There was some problem with achieving a perfect seal," he said. "We have had such incidents before and it is not something extraordinary."

Sounds fixable.

I like that pic. Its surreal seeing a DSN station where Oppy actually is. Also Victoria isn't all that big of a Martian crater really.

Did anyone else notice the tracks left by a few boulders as they rolled down into Victoria ? Must have been "recent" events.

When one sees Oppy resolved as a black point on a zoomed out pic of Victoria, it shows how big Viccy is and how small the rover is. pancam.gif
