I just saw the ISS and it does indeed look brighter after the addition of the 2nd set of Solar Arrays.

Remember, the main purpose of going to Victoria is to examine the rock layers at the BOTTEM of the crater, you know, actually driving down there and sticking the arm on the layers.

If the slopes are only 16 to 20 degrees, driving in and out will be easy. Endurance was a lot steeper than 20 degrees.

Not a chance, the circumference would be about 2.4 Km long.

Is anyone else experiencing the situation where MMB seems to download the same pics an hour later as well, i.e. 2 times in 2 hours ?

Thanks.

Now that Pluto has lost its status as a Planet, I was wondering what Alan's view on this is ? Also would have NH been approved if the status had been different when NH was envisoned ?

One thing about the dust that is easy to see is the 1 or 2 mm of it on the Rovers, this has deposited in only 2 years, after 2 million years you would have a lot more dust laying on the Rovers, all be it some of it may subsequently be blown off at some time.

I hope she is not stuck, maybe they stopped ontop of the dune for a better look at Victoria, the navcams and pancams are not available yet.
