I look forward to the LRO images of the human hardware on our Moon.........

I still chuckle at Buzz punching that reporter smile.gif....not that I condone physical violence of course......

"missile that will fire a hole deep in the surface of the moon"

What kind of English is that ? Surely, even if it were a missile, it will impact the moon after being fired.
Also should it not be "into" rather than "in".

Yes but some pages are clearly out of date....

"LROC images are not currently available, because the orbiter is still waiting for launch.
Once launched, the orbiter will began taking amazing pictures of the moon. "

Also why do we still need a "Launch Preview".

Separation smile.gif.
I too tried to see it but it launched due east. I can see the shuttle when it goes NE but East is no good.

An MCS is progressing towards the cape, thunderstorms might interfere with the launch.

"Humidity control needs to be active in order to preserve the assets (rover, cables etc..). "

How long are you planning running the test rover ? 100 Million years ? On second thoughts if its like Florida the rover would be a rust bucket by now !

Unless that man is very short, the mast seems taller than I thought. That will give us better views of wherever Curiosity lands.

The telegraph article does say he has a nasty 3 inch gash on his hand, which is pretty big for a 14 year olds hand.

Edit, scar looks like 1.5 inches not 3.

I can't connect. Also I have noted for a few weeks lately that its been incredibly slow to load at my workplace. Also I think my workplace are blocking pages with "blog" in them, either the name of the page or just in the body.

QUOTE (Phil Stooke @ Jun 2 2009, 08:47 PM) *
I just don't see much chance of any big seas in this area.
Phil

We had subtropical jungle in the arctic circle on Earth, so anything is possible, given time.
