Interesting topic that bring up ein question: What is the difference in look of both MER, do both have the same background on high-gain antenna for instance? And LEGO figurine somewhere on solar panels?

Which device made the Huygens probe spin underneath its satellite?
I read that's the way how 360° images were made during descent...

Well I always grab hold of a Spaceflight magazine, check it diagonally and buy it if it has something on unmanned spaceflight, which it has in 50% of the time smile.gif
Guess I'll buy a few of the April 2006 issues with the UMSF Spirit cover smile.gif

So New Horizons will take images of the Gas giant Jupiter and some of its moons?
Wondered if the lenses on the cameras are closed afterwards as some kind of protection and opened before Pluto encounter? blink.gif

DSN questions: Does anybody know:
1. Where these antennas are precisely located ( GPS coordinates )
2. How could we visit these ' Tempels ' for unmanned space buffs ?
3. Does anybody of forum live near any of them ( Jodrell Bank, etc... ) ?

That CNN reporter even lobbyed to fly on a space shuttle and NASA was thinking about it!

Doug, Will You also record this evening's NH launch preps, together with what You have that would make a 'must have' DVD ! smile.gif
