Nice work as usual, Mr. T cool.gif I agree there do not appear to be any obvious signs of clouds.

G'mic is a remarkable toolset, John; especially the numerous inpainting resources.

Yes, I'm fiddling with a Neptune movie, Emily. The Uranus sequence would be somewhat difficult to work with, I would've thought.

This USGS mosaic contains all radar swathes up to and including the August 2014 T-104 data return:

http://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/detail...n180_128ppd/cub

I used this mosaic and combined part of it with a cleaned and de-seamed and colorized ISS mosaic to produce this dynamic view of Adiri:

Advanced image processing techniques pioneered by the people behind CSI and CSI: Bognor Regis were applied to New Horizons images of Triton --- with spectacular results!

That's amazing, John. Somewhat on a tangent, could these techniques be utilized to clean-up the USGS Titan radar mosaic, as seen here:

http://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/detail...n180_128ppd/cub

Furthermore, as someone who doesn't have access to ISIS, would the CUB file preserve the SAR swathes in separate layers?

No worries Jason; I originally thought it was the JPEG autostetch screwing things up.

This view of the Fensal-Aztlan hemisphere also shows the north polar hood in profile — an artefact of subtracting the lone MT1 frame from the surface-reaching CB3 images:

Bjorn,

I can't thank you enough for not only making this utility available in the first place, but also for constant upgrades and bug-fixes.

Great map Daniel! I'm only browsing on a mobile device, but even so, the quality and sheer level of detail are clearly evident.

Yes! Hadn't tested it myself, so it was somewhat of a stab in the dark ... but I'm glad it worked! cool.gif

Emily,

The free IRIS package looks like it has a good solution in the form of it's 'Convert a CFA image' command:

North is to the right, and we're looking here at the anti-Saturn hemisphere, dominated by Fensal Aztlan (once known informally as the 'lying H')
