Yup it's been on my todo list for a while now, however I won't be able to start work on this till next week. Not quite as regular as 7x3 chunks, Doug. But should end up being another full 360 degree panorama I think. |

That makes no sense. "working normally" but also "not work on all the payloads at a given time" "summer on the moon" "temperature in the moon's atmosphere" Never has such a short article confused me so much! |

What would their Martian third birthday's be? Plugging Spirit's landing day into the Exploratorium birthday tool gives 24/08/2009 as her third birthday on Mars. |

I think the answer is no, there aren't any more pancam images to fill in the nearfield/deck at this location - you'd have to resort to navcams for that. James |

I was considering posting a scaled down preview. You've just made up my mind I'll see what I can do. James |

I don't know what that has to do with flash player problems However I find Tman's filename decoder both accurate and very useful. http://www.greuti.ch/oppy/html/filenames_ltst.htm |

That may refer to this news: Wow! that is impressive - dtolman is right, the Hubble announcement is going to have a hard time beating this. The image links don't work in the link Fran gave, try here instead In fact I think that image deserves to be inline. ![]() EDIT: It looks like the Keck press release and images has been taken down. |

Meanwhile twittering over at @marsroverdriver Scott is looking on the *possible* bright side: QUOTE ('marsroverdriver') Crossing fingers for Spirit, who's riding out a dust storm. Martian dust storms *can* be *good* news: the winds can blow solar panels clean. I'll take survival at this point - don't want to get my hopes up too much. |

FYI: There was another drive tosol (1707), about 80m due South. Not sure if there is a problem with Exploratorium, but the stamps are up on the PDT - so no need to worry about our other rover. EDIT: And as I said that they appeared |

Does anyone know if the entire Bonestell panorama is down yet? No it's not all down. Here is a small version my working copy: There are 13 camera pointings still missing from this; they still have to be downlinked. One is partially down (7 out of 13 filters) so I make it 162 individual images to go (plus the odd data dropout in a few others). The one that is partially down would complete the top two rows.
