I agree that the composition of just sol 16 is better, in fact I was away creating a cropped version as you posted.

I had another go at the sol 16 part of The Peter Pan and added the sol 17 bit as well.



As a bonus there is also a small version of all the sections of The Peter Pan taken so far in the correct relative positions.

Any chance you edit your post to follow your own advice - those first two in-line images are over that. The first is over 1MB! I'm going to make them plain links for now to help dial up users, feel free to make it a thumbnail link if you wish.

Thanks for the comments, and nice variations. I usually reduce the saturation myself from what my software spits out, but this was done as a bit of a rush job while very tired. I may redo it tonight, this one deserves a bit of effort.

No, I don't think there is a press conference today.

I can't imagine they are not pleased with that, looks perfect!

Very rough and ready but gives you the idea - a better one next week when i have the time

Note that quite a bit more colour came down to add to that pan tosol, it's now a reasonable sols worth.

I'm not sure if I'm get time to process it today, busy this evening (and for the whole weekend), might have a go at lunchtime...

Runout sequences aren't all bad!

Here is the Sol 10 colour sequence with the sol 2 one. The relative positions should be correct.

Now that we have file renaming by MMB and the browse page from Emily, I'll probably discontinue my raw image page unless there is significant demand for it. It's served it's purpose.

You have four options:

Open that file with an EXIF reader to get the product ID.
Download with MMB which now renames the files.
Download from my site where I have renamed them (see my sig)
Download from the NASA site http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/phoenix/images/index.html

I already output a text file with the Product ID, Elevation, Azimuth when I do the renaming (to help me work out how the mosaics fit together). I can easily add in more of the metadata and post this file on my site if needed.

But maybe MMB is about to put me out of business.

I agree about the duplications nearly all are there twice many 4-5 times and that sol 3 one Mike noted seems to get posted every sol!

It's in the file name just like the filters numbers for the SSI. At the end: M?M1 ?=R,G,B,D (Red, Green, Blue, Off)

There has been quite a bit of duplication from the word go as far as I've been able to make out.

Didn't get the chance to get, process and upload the sol 8 images this morning so I don't know if the duplication is any worse tosol.
