I don't have a good position yet for sol 2036, so this will have to do for now. Paul said in the other thread that the drive was cut short, and I think he's right.

EDIT - with Damia's excellent panorama I have nailed down the location - I was way off base but now am found, so to speak. Old map removed to protect my reputation, new map closeup to show where we really are.

We moved over 40 m southwest on sol 2039, towards a possible drilling location. Robotic manipulators crossed!

Another c. 40 m drive on sol 2040. Unfortunately, I think the drilling location will be just outside my map area.

My pleasure, Phil! But I did miss the new names from your post. I will include them in the next installment, possibly Friday.

Sol 2044, move to a nice big chunk of rock.

OK, off the big chunk of rock and down onto the lower level. The location should be pretty good here, but I'm not confident of the path I am showing here.

Quite a few edits since the last map, mostly to allow names etc. to be moved around. It's tricky trying to map sol by sol without knowing where future activities will take place. When the path starts to double back on itself, as it probably will, it will be time for a new map.

Sol 2052: a c. 10 m drive to the northwest, perilously close to falling off the edge of the map.

Sol 2053, a drive around the rock target Duluth. Having driven around Duluth many times myself I can only hope Curiosity doesn't get lost, as I always do in that rather confusing place.
