I used to use ImageJ then I started to use PIPP - once they are deBayerd then i get rid of any camera defects (marks) then i put them through DXO PhotoLab to enhance details - stitch with PTGui - once stitched use Luminar plugin in photoshop to enhance tones

yes a lot of work but i love doing it
