I am starting a new thread for the exploration of the Pediment - we should see a climb onto its surface very soon. It's a rough surface so progress may be slow.

Jan's sol 3560 panorama in circular form - basically past the most difficult part of the journey through the past and looking across the new valley to the south.
The second image is the central part of the full scale mosaic. -------------------- ... because the Solar System ain't gonna map itself.

Jan's panorama for sol 3563 in circular form, visiting a small 'aeolian bedform'. On sol 3564 another drive brought us to another similar feature further south.
