Five Years of Spirit on Mars
I normally don't go re-posting the blogs that I know most of us here read regularly, but I have to point out what a wonderful job Emily did in digesting five years of Spirit's exploration into one commentary/column of under 1800 words. Thanks from me too for that wonderful compilation! Me too. My favorite part was Steve Squyres managing expectations regarding whether Spirit could make it to the Columbia Hills. Congrats to the whole rover team, 3 years and 3 months after Spirit made it to the top of Husband Hill and started heading down the other side. Truly amazing! |
