Would the lay of the land permit a more angled approach, much as Oppy needed to get out of Eagle crater?

Would the lay of the land permit a more angled approach, much as Oppy needed to get out of Eagle crater? That's what we are trying to do. Climb cross-slope. It worked in Tartarus, not sure if it will work here. We'll see what happens next.
