Recent article in Science by Zebker et al.:
Zebker et al. Key points of article:
"Xanadu seems to be systematically lower than other parts of the equatorial belt, and not uplifted like most mountainous areas on Earth." The "spooky dude" feature still puzzles me. The tapered end points downhill. But the large oval depressions seem to be uphill from the tapered point. This is kinda opposite of what one would expect (I think).
