the dem was extracted from the vertex plate model ... To clarify... I was referring to the photogrammetry leading to the creation of the shape (or vertex plate) model. Given that model, the DEM is simply the difference between the shape model and the corresponding ellipsoid fit. Eventually that will be a geoid fit, but these are early days. |
