On the result of orbit correction operation of Akatsuki We at JAXA conducted an orbit correction operation at the end of July for the planned re-insertion of the orbiter Akatsuki on 7 December 2015. From the analysis of the telemetry data obtained by 2 August we came to the conclusion as on 17:30 4 August (JST) that the planned correction had been successfully achieved. We send our thanks to all those concerend who provided support for this operation. P |

now all JAXA has to do is get the darned thing into some kindov orbit this may yet be Hayabusa-like great escape P |
