I just submitted my name and got certificate number 1.16 million something. If I interpret the number, that is almost 1 million names that got added in the last 24 hours.

I just submitted my name and got certificate number 1.16 million something. If I interpret the number, that is almost 1 million names that got added in the last 24 hours. The Planetary Society started these participation certificates at 1000000 (The 'Wish Upon The Moon' campaign for SELENE is the same way). 161,000 names have actually been submitted...which is obviously still a lot, don't get me wrong! For Stardust and the Mars Rovers, on the other hand, 1 million and 4 million names were submitted, respectively. -------------------- 2011 JPL Tweetup photos: http://www.rich-parno.com/aa_jpltweetup.html
