nop, do you know if Kaguya will acquire approach imagery as it nears the Moon? Would be interesting to see how image products will looks from this spacecraft with science target, not hardware (though those images are pretty cool, don't get me wrong).

Would be interesting to see how image products will looks from this spacecraft with science target, not hardware (though those images are pretty cool, don't get me wrong). Sorry, volcanopele, I have no information about it. But I'm sure that JAXA will release some moon images on the way, as past spacecrafts (Hiten, Nozomi and Hayabusa) have provided us a lot of images when approaching the moon, the earth and the asteroid. Stay tuned for further updates. FYI, the maneuver Delta-Va1 was successfully executed yesterday and now Kaguya is fine. |
