The details are a little hazy and I haven't yet found decent reporting on it, but apparently the UAE is considering an asteroid mission, which some news outlets are interpreting to be a Venus mission.
From what I understand, the UAE is considering a sort of Main Belt tour mission that will conduct a Venus flyby, followed by an Earth flyby before entering the asteroid belt, visiting seven asteroids, and landing on one.

QUOTE
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said the country’s latest mission would explore seven asteroids. It will even execute the first Arab landing on an asteroid.
