Hello,
I am working on processing some images released by the HiRISE team. I've had no trouble reading PDS file and extracting the embedded images until I encountered the HiRISE files. I think the problem is that their 'RECORD_TYPE' is 'UNIDENTIFIED'. All the previous files I've worked with were 'FIXED_LENGTH'. Determining where in the file to seek and how much binary data to read was an easy task with those files. But now I am stuck. Does anybody have any experience working with these types of files, specifically getting at the images stored in them? Thanks. P.S. The example file I have is 4.1 MB and exceeds the maximum upload size. PM me if it would be helpful for me to send it to you directly. -------------------- Website: http://ryanbalfanz.net
