Curiosity smiling in the shadows at that nice clean beautiful sedimentary plate :: maniacal grin begins to set in :: but so displeased and dishevelled with the result!

I don't see what the mystery is, fishy creature (circled) exits at speed from hole -A, makes a depression in sand -B and comes to rest in current position. Simple! |

Of course. Looking at the last selfie of Curiosity it is no wonder the fishy thingy moved so fast. For a Martian fishy creature Curiosity would be the stuff of nightmares.

From a purely Martian-Fishy-Creature perspective, I would suggest that the underbelly of Curiosity looks like a great big aquarium, so yeah, swim away, head for the big red sea!

I thought this might be the place to put this... (looked around and didn't see it posted elsewhere...)
NASA is releasing 3D printer files that enable you to 'build' a 3D replica (small) of Curiosity. http://nasa3d.arc.nasa.gov/detail/mars-rover-curiosity I would be 'Curious' to see if anyone can do this. -------------------- CLA CLL

I have a 3D printer, will be doing the high detailed version of the model pretty soon, probably start on it with in the next week.
