QUOTE (abalone @ Feb 4 2006, 01:55 PM) Thanks Dilo, but one question. Are we comparing the thickness of the smog or the size of Homeplate and the hills?? A foggy day today in Paris, for sure... tau seems better on Gusev! -------------------- I always think before posting! - Marco -

QUOTE (dilo @ Feb 4 2006, 08:36 AM) Hah!! Dilo, you're a real Card! Now Doug would like to see it in Picadilly Circus and of course Home Plate just has to fit in Yankee Stadium (not by much though I bet! QUOTE (Oersted @ Feb 4 2006, 02:14 AM) I did a few cut-and-paste jobs with Home Plate put into (hopefully!) well-known surroundings. Helps me understand the scale of the place better... Great Views snipped Have you guys and girls got any other "earthly sizes"? (BTW, thanks to Tesheiner and Google Maps) Hey Oersty. This is tres cool! Now Reeshard can buy a ticket to see it, the Pope can bless it, and W. can protect it from Al Q*eda! Now do Piccadilly Circus for our English friends, Balmoral Castle for Jolly Jock, put it under Sydney Harbour Bridge for Astro0, and in Ultreya for Ustrax! FUN! -------------------- My Grandpa goes to Mars every day and all I get are these lousy T-shirts!

QUOTE (MaxSt @ Feb 4 2006, 10:20 PM) Yeah... ...I was always sorry they never got to do that launch from Gusev AFB. At least we now know what SLC-6 will look like in a gazillion years! Bob Shaw -------------------- Remember: Time Flies like the wind - but Fruit Flies like bananas!
