well,
from this info, we may be able to see the full scale mockup spaceship two. Should be interesting. With Virgin, there should be lots of flash..or so I think. Virgin Galactic web site got a flashy update as well.. for the unveiling I guess. cheers jb BTW love the VSS Enterprise name for the first official spaceshiptwo |

What's with all the portholes? Do they have some engineering purpose, or are they just there to give the plane a retro-sf look?

What's with all the portholes? they are there for the people who are paying $200,000 to see out... I myself thought there would be more. Can't wait to see white knight 2.. looks like a big plane.. hope things work out..I will never be able to go in it but it wll be fun to watch it go up.. |

I'm trying to figure out how WhiteKnight2 can carry enough fuel to do the job...those wings are way skinny, and jet engines (even advanced turbofans) are pretty thirsty critters, esp. for this kind of mission profile.
Well, that's why I ain't Burt Rutan, after all... -------------------- A few will take this knowledge and use this power of a dream realized as a force for change, an impetus for further discovery to make less ancient dreams real.
