ISS will acquire a global mapping mosaic of Titan. A four-frame mosaic will be centered just south of eastern Aztlan near the Nath crater. Interesting constructs that may be imaged include Shiwanni Virgae and Sotra Facula, the latter a possible volcano. The details of this rev and flyby are found here http://www.ciclops.org/view/7871/Rev204

Haven't seen any images from 4/27. Is there a raw image update issue?
EDIT: Whoops spoke too soon!

A view of Titan from 357,740 km during the T101 approach of the southern sub-Saturn hemisphere. This image from the Ciclops looking ahead article http://www.ciclops.org/view/7871/Rev204?js=1 shows Titan as it might appear without its atmosphere. This superb montage of Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) images is presented in grayscale and is slightly enhanced. Inbound ISS will acquire a four-frame mosaic of this area with a resolution around 2.15 kilometers (1.34 miles) per pixel perhaps filling in some of the lower resolution areas shown in the image. We are fortunate enough to have a ‘front row seat’ as this science mystery unfolds.

Absolutely gorgeous album JohnVV! Are your images of Titan available in the Celestia Program?

Are your images of Titan available in the Celestia Program?

there is a forum page for using SPICE in that program

-- for Cassini
http://forum.celestialmatters.org/viewtopi...?f=18&t=590
-- and for everything that needs
http://forum.celestialmatters.org/viewforum.php?f=18
installing the NAIF c-spice and setting up the solarsystem

PS. i use the SVN 5229 pull of the program and build it using QT4
(technically this would be the not published Celestia 1.7.0 )

By images if you are referring to the maps for the moons and planets
mine are here:
http://celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/show...p?creator_id=10
but some DO need to be updated .

Thanks for the links John VV.
The T101 mission overview is now up on the Cassini Solstice Mission home page. http://saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/flybys/titan20140517/ Looking forward to the Radio Science experimental results concerning the nature of the Titanian surface.
The ISS inbound images should include a NAC image of the Sotra Patera (new designation as of Dec 2012) http://planetarynames.wr.usgs.gov/Feature/..._fsk=-728381426 the best example of cryovulcanism on icy satellites.
There have been papers suggesting Sotra Patera has been brightening http://meetingorganizer.copernicus.org/EGU...EGU2014-588.pdf http://www.europlanet-eu.org/epsc2013/76-e...o-cryovolcanism however the most recent consensus is that the cryovolcano is not active. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sotra_Patera
Perhaps brightening since 2010 can be explained by the effects of the “arrow storm” equatorial storm clouds that enveloped the area in September and October of 2010.

Four ISS narrow angle camera images from the completed T101 flyby have come down today. These approach images from about 350K km have been slightly enhanced and placed on that great “Looking Ahead” image.

Nice composite Ian!
As described in Ciclops a parting view at a modestly high viewing angle of Titan on May 18th CL1 CB3 filtered images would allow visualization of the northern lakes and seas. A cropped view (N00224123) shows this region and a little image processing reveals the sprawling Kraken Sea (K) and compact Punga (P).
