NASA TV is showing images and footage of Earth right now (Monday pm UK time)... I think I read somewhere it'll be doing this all day...? Kind of like an "Earth Day" or something...?
Go take a look, the pics are gorgeous! EDIT: the program has changed, sorry. Now showing the return of the Soyuz at weekend. -------------------- |

Go take a look, the pics are gorgeous! EDIT: the program has changed, sorry. Now showing the return of the Soyuz at weekend. It was may be on yesterday (sunday). I went there (to watch the Suyuz actualy) and ran in a looong footage with nice coments. May be it was what you're talking about. A good idea anyway |

Actually I think today is "Earth HD footage" day... some beautiful images playing on NASA TV now... well worth a look...
