Map updated to sol 1371. As usual at this stage I am fairly confident of the location but I am only guessing the exact route.

I have updated the map to the latest drive, sol 1373, but this time I cheated - Tim Parker at JPL already posted a map So I have taken the last few details from him.

You may notice a few changes to placenames. One of the targets while at Oudam was called Fraktuur Dorp, and since Dorp in Afrikaans means town or village, I assume Fraktuur Dorp is an updated name for Fracture Town. Also I have put the name Hartmann's Valley in a nearby valley. Is it in the right place? If anyone can advise me I would be grateful.

Another drive, probably cut short according to what was forecast by the USGS blog.

I revised the recent route and positions a bit and added the sol 1383 drive.

Seems there's a fan of Hagar the Horrible around. Here's Helga:

Unfortunately for Helga, I had to move her (or them) to the ridges east of the rover track, the southern end of Naukluft Plateau. I may have to change the route on sol 1376 as well, since Tim Parker's map at JPL was changed after that drive. That's for next time, though.

Phil, nobody tells you often enough just how valuable and interesting your maps are for following this journey.

Thanks for always so graciously utilizing your mad cartographic skills to benefit us all here. smile.gif

Here is an update to sol 1385. I went back to make the change at sol 1376 as well.

Here is the sol 1387 map - we drove through a small depression.

Sol 1398 - a good drive to the southwest. I am confident of the location, within a few metres, but the path is pure fiction for now.

Sol 1399, based on hazcams and may need some editing.
