FYI:
There was a segment on NPR's "All Things Considered" tonight covering NASA's plans to start using private companies to launch cargo into space. There were a couple of excerpts from Michael Griffin's talk to the House Science Committee and a brief interview with Elon Musk of SpaceX. You can listen to it here. -------------------- --O'Dave

Here's another NPR pointer - Science Friday's second hour today was devoted to a discussion of the future of the US Space program. I missed the first 20 minutes or so, but a broad range of topics were covered, mainly relating to manned spaceflight. The guests were:
Tom Jones Former NASA Astronaut Elon Musk Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) Rick Tumlinson Co-Founder Space Frontier Foundation George Whitesides Executive Director National Space Society Audio should be available for download later today. -------------------- --O'Dave
