I have cast about on the web and so on, for details and dimensions of the Beagle2 lander. Yes, yes, I know that the builders kept the thing as secret as possible. But this is what I have found.

1) scaling from various graphics, I inferred that Beagle2 was 643 mm in diameter.

2) I found at http://www.answers.com/topic/beagle-2 the line "a diameter of 0.65 m and a depth of 0.25 m."

Here I am talking about the actual lander, not the aeroshell / heatshield.

Does anyone have any comments on this info? Or have anything else to add? Drawings or other graphics would be most useful!

Thanks

Rob
