"Mars 3D" : Movie Premiere at the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia, 12 Nov 2008, 9 PM
This new movie was produced in partnership with the Science Museum of Minnesota. I will be hosting a free premiere showing at 9 PM as part of the 12 November 2008 monthly meeting of the Rittenhouse Astronomical Society (RAS). I will present a brief intro to the film and do a Q&A at the finale. All are welcome. Meeting and film are free http://www.rittenhouseastronomicalsociety.org/ http://www.rittenhouseastronomicalsociety....es/meetings.htm This should be a more updated companion to "IMAX Roving Mars" film cited elsewhere here in the Spirit thread. And should be a good companion to the new Jim Bell book titled "Mars 3-D: A Rovers-Eye View of the Red Planet" Jim Bell had some involvement with the production anyone with further background on the film please post here movie details here: http://www.smm.org/mars3d/ Please feel free to contact me Ken Kremer email: kremerken at yahoo.com |
