Thanks Lyford, I certainly did enjoy the music and the video. Maybe Pluto's identity crisis has made it an object of artistic creativity.
Further evidence can be found in the beautiful rendering by L. Calcada that appears today in both the Planetary Society blog http://www.planetary.org/blog/article/00001860/ and in Space Daily http://www.spacedaily.com/reports/The_Lowe...vealed_999.html It kind of reminds me of a midnight drive in Baja California under a full moon, without the benefit of headlights. (Don't try this on the home planet, kids.) |

Yes, I love that rendition as well - seems that Pluto inspires images and music that are more serene than the mythological basis for its name would suggest!
