Sol 2061 - we have moved to a position just north of the sol 1986 stop. My location shoild be pretty good, and I have plotted a path following the previous drive because we know it was safe, but this may be edited later.

Phil

EDIT: removed my first map and replaced it. The JPL map update showed me I had us crossing the wrong hollow, too far east, on the previous drive.

Sil 2163, a shortish drive to reach a new target. This is only approximate at the moment.

Sol 2166, another short drive to a good site (and a correction to the previous position).

I've just noticed another apparent typo among the scottish names. I think Diabiag near the centre there should read Diabaig.

You're right. The mistake comes from the Curiosity update here:
https://mars.nasa.gov/msl/mission/mars-rove...ettegrove-point

"Sol 2127: Continuing to Understand Pettegrove Point
Written by Christopher Edwards on 07.31.2018

Curiosity completed its drive successfully after the science team regrouped from the incomplete drill, which required a different than anticipated weekend plan. The rocks of the Vera Rubin Ridge are just turning out to be harder than expected! In today's plan, we will continue to assess the compositional diversity of the Vera Rubin Ridge Pettegrove Point member. In this workspace, we planned activities for two contact science targets, with APXS and MAHLI imaging of the locations dubbed "Diabiag" and "Slioch". The Diabiag target has a purple hue in Mastcam imagery and appears to be relatively dust free, while the Slioch target is darker. The team could not find a suitable place to brush the dust away with a DRT activity since the local bedrock was extremely rough."

This is far from the first spelling error I have seen in these reports. When I notice them I correct them, but it's always good to have ones I miss pointed out to me. Thanks, ngunn!

Sol 2218, a short drive. Although the longer term plan is to go south, this was a test drive to the northwest, just a few meters.

Zooming southwestish almost 60 m and we are just north of Lake Orcadie on sol 2221. Old tracks from sol 1977 are faintly visible in the Hazcam images.

Map update to sol 2250. We did not go very far, about 12 m northeast. Might not have been the straight path I show here. Paul's half panorama was able to locate us.

Update to sol 2252.
This update includes the location data from PDS Release 19. The path data for sols 0-2166 has been reviewed and updated as well as Analyst's Notebook data for sols 1-2127.
