Simulated Curiosity @ Namib Dune.
Mosaic of Navcams from Sol 1194 with a simulated Curi in position on Sol 1196. Scale approximated from the following process... HiRISE image of Curiosity in situ on 1196, mapped to DTM 3D model of the same area. This environment, with 3D model of Curiosity in place, was then mapped to the camera angle of this Navcam mosaic. Process The model of Curi was then composited with the Navcam mosaic to complete the image. -------------------- |
