Another map with names: a screenshot from a presentation by Drs. Andrew Annex and Bethany Ehlmann at LPSC recently.

Hi,

just posted my List of Labels on this forum for having a data source of those unofficial labels on the maps. Try to keep it up to date. This should help in naming features on your maps and preventing wrong label positions (like the strange movement of "Rockytop" a few weeks ago).

Thanks Phil for directing me to this forum!

Kind regards
Armin

Sol 762 map update.
Position of the Rocky Top outcrop was indeed in error, thanks for pointing it out.
I also adjusted position of some other names.

On Ginny last update, they talk about going to mount Julian and take a picture of the interior of Belva. Cannot find this location anywhere ! BTW, Julian is my mother’s maiden name rolleyes.gif

just added my guess to the list (77.37125873565675;18.478264174310986). A peak on the edge of Belva.

Sol 763 update, there is a lot of action. I concur with Armin in regards to Mt. Julian position, as the height is inside Rocky Mountains quadrangle, but i only use 6 decimal places for its placement on the map.
