One month has gone since my last update of Spirit's route map but in any case the rover hasn't moved too much in the mean time.
Updated route map (sol 1187).

biggrin.gif I always click on here and look at the last map in the thread. Needless to say I got quite a shock ohmy.gif when I saw what turned out to be your prediction.

Don't do that!! tongue.gif

No, no ,no. Spirit can't be there on sol 1521. The sun will be too far to the north by then. Spirit will be back at Low Ridge Haven on sol 1521. tongue.gif

Kinda busy place Eduardo!

I guess Spirit is pulling your leg after your "prediction for sol 1521"

My "prediction" is taking place.
Spirit left the Nancy Warren outcrop on sol 1232 and moved back there a few hours ago during sol 1235.
My updated route map.

Seeing that reminds me why I haven't been updating my version of the Spirit route map.

If she ever escapes from this pocket I will pick it up again.

If she ever escapes from this pocket...

At least she's "stuck" by choice, by a surplus of wonderful science targets. smile.gif

I can appreciate the initial plan to return to another target that appeared to have a lot of silica, but I guess this must be a serendipitous discovery worthy of follow-up. I look forward to tagging HP again, and the targets behind it, before heading off toward those promised lands.

Do we even have a feeling for the distance Spirit can travel in a sol, if she puts her mind to it?

Despite of the storm and the consequent power limitations, Spirit moved away of Nancy Warren site.
Updated (and cluttered) map for sol 1247.

... and after two moves, on sols 1248 and 1250, we are back again at Nancy Warren. rolleyes.gif
Updated (and even more cluttered) map for sol 1250.
