Many so many thanks to Mike for the Midnight Planets site and the iOS app! The MP suite was truly a visionary project and such a game-changer for accessing the raw imagery, a capability still unsurpassed that we will all certainly miss..
Sadly I must admit that after MP went 'dark' some 45 days ago, i've been somewhat adrift in the doldrums when it comes to browsing the latest from MSL, as i find the NASA raw imagery interfaces to be, aside from their filtering capability, to be painfully cumbersome by comparison and as a result have let so much of the latest imagery slip by unnoticed, other than catching glimpses from others' work here on UMSF.

So on that note... any chance you would be open to posting your MP code base on an open source project site so those having an interest might continue development? I am not capable of this level of web development myself, but i think there are some people in these threads that might be, and given the chance might choose to lend some of their skills in hopes of maybe even adapting it to handle 2020 as well as other missions.
