Update to sol 1726, moving SE again. Some earlier stops are marked as white squares, which are where in situ observations are made (defined for my purposes as MAHLI, APXS, sometimes DRT). I have been too busy the last few stops to update that but will get to it soon.

Paul's 1728 panorama gave me a good position for that sol, and a JPL map update lets me add a few corrections to the path. So... right up to the minute with the latest update.

Looks like I was wrong! We are going around the north side of the patch of drifts to our east and turning southeast after that. This shows the sol 1734 position from Jan's panorama.

Indeed this seems to allow a gentler slope for navigating to the south side of the eastern patch of drifts, and beyond (e.g. continuing south for a bit).

Update to sol 1737. Also included Phil's target names (just click on the "Targets" square to see them.)
Moved the point of view to closer to the Vera Rubin ridge climbing point as described in the notional routes (post #880), as it increasingly looks like that will be right place. Fernando The_Martian_Way_MSL_Curiosity_Sol_1737_2017JUN27.kmz ( 460.08K ) Number of downloads: 275 |

Update to Sol 1746. According to Mark Salvatore (Mission Updates) the entry ramp
QUOTE is still another ~275 meters distant. Fernando The_Martian_Way_MSL_Curiosity_Sol_1746_2017JUL05.kmz ( 411.45K ) Number of downloads: 230 |

Sol 1746, another drive, about 20 m east - this should be approximately the right position but I don't have it very exact yet.
