I'm not sure about Mount Julian. Others have good guesses too like this one from 65dBniose:
This might be a better guess than mine. Also Fall River Pass is a good guess here. Waiting on your opinions.... Kind regards Armin -------------------- |

Sol 768 map update. I'm still not sure about location of the new names, so I'm leaving them out for now. I suspect that Mt. Julian is the height to the north of the rover's current position, as it is the only commanding height in the current workspace. mars_M2020_targets.txt ( 91.15K ) Number of downloads: 104 I also managed to compile a list of targets from Mission Analyst for the first 655 sols with 1076 entries so far. It will take me some more time to map them, but for now I am sharing the raw list. I hope it may prove useful. It will be updated as the new info arrives. (Please rename the file extension from .txt to .csv. For some reason the board disallows upload of the csv files.) |

Have added all three guesses at the map and added A,B,C for each variant. One of them is the right one... list is updated. Need some more time to check your list. Looks very interesting... Added "Echo Creek" to the list. Also the two abrasions (Ouzel Falls, Solitude Lake) have been added. I think we need a classification of names for the map. How about these five: Rocks, Sites, Areas (bigger sites), Cores, Abrasions? So the labels can be filered...
@kymani76: send you a PM regarding your list. Kind regards Armin -------------------- |

Try to figure out the new list data format (csv is working so far). Would it be better to have multiple list files (for each category) or one file with all types of labels and a data field with the category included?
My first QGIS map: I think it says that Mount Julian C is the right one. Kind regards Armin -------------------- |
