The Mission Updates for Sols 4182-4183 has provided the latest target' names. It also talks about the route for the next sols: it is possible to cross the channel on Pinnacle Ridge's south side but the team decided to continue to follow the notional route. Curiosity drove a little over 25m, of which almost 17m were inside the channel. If it follows it to its "mouth", about 50m away, and provided it is wide enough, it will save 200+m over going around a longer and more wheel-punishing route. Jan's post on another thread clearly shows the channel. Curiosity drove a little over 30m on sol 4191. Perhaps it is looking for a shortcut (as compared to MSAR 10). With Jan's panorama it seems so easy to do futurology...
