Shadow Of Opportunity On The Surface?

Is the black spot just to the left of the prominent crater the shadow of Opportunity as it approaches the landing site?

yes, shadow of the parachute. In theory, there should be a tiny fuzzy dot to it's left that is the shadow of the lander itself, but I've never been able to convince myself I could see it... smile.gif
