for those interested .Here is a 32768x16384 pixel map of the Clementine UVIS .
Remapped to line up with the new Kaguya topo map ( LALT_GGT_MAP.IMG ) It is in Vips/Nip2 ( *.v) format , i like this format for LARGE images ( 1.5 gig) http://www.vips.ecs.soton.ac.uk/index.php?title=VIPS the 4 files are the North West ,North East,South West , and South East 16384x8192 px and a 1024x512 preview image 32k.Moon.NE.v.bz2 - 155.9 MB http://www.zshare.net/download/736075301fe35605/ 32k.Moon.NW.v.bz2 - 148.3 MB http://www.zshare.net/download/73607974ffab9a2f/ 32k.Moon.SE.v.bz2 - 159.8 MB http://www.zshare.net/download/736084556c0393c7/ 32k.Moon.SW.v.bz2 - 159.9 MB http://www.zshare.net/download/7360892293b0d2a5/ gdal/OpenEV can open a .v file as a 3 band RAW with a 64 bit header ( skip the first 64 bits) |

this map also lines up with the LOLA LRO data .
However i am still checking it i used the kaguya 5760x2880 to make it and it still needs to be rechecked with the LDEM_64.img but the first impressions is that it dose line up a photo the above map with the LOLA normal map ( level 4) http://imbrium.mit.edu/EXTRAS/CELESTIA/ [attachment=21117:Screenshot_3L.png] |
