What is the exact peanut deployment sequence? I have my jar of peanuts, unopened. Am I supposed to wait until EDL, until we hear it succeed?

Wonder what that data is on the left screen at the back?

They have real time Doppler data and they are detecting Mars Gravity!!!

OK, good. I almost endng up spending the next little bit of this time on the phone to Comcast. Just after NASA TV here started the no-commentary coverage at 5pm my time, the screen went blank. All other channels were working, just not NASA TV.

I was actually working my way through the Comcast phone menu when it came back up just a couple of minutes ago.

My dog just landed in the couch...I'll face that as a good sign...

Last night I was just about to go to bed and there, believe it or not, was a little mouse swimming in the toilet. Improbable as it sounds our Cat must have brought it in just a few moments before and for some reason have dropped it in the toilet. I rescued it and set it free outside.
So an event that’s very improbable occurred and the little guy survived both my cat and a potential drowning to live another day. That’s my good omen.
