Update to sol 2593. I measure (using GE ruler) under 42m. Getting closer to West Butte.

Update to sol 2594. It is sol 2600 but Curiosity hasn't moved since then. A huge panorama is in the making ...

I probably did exaggerate the distance a bit last time! Sorry. Here is the map for sol 2602, moving south and a bit uphill towards the butte. The white squares are places where the arm instruments are used. Now it is at almost every stop, but it's quite interesting to compare that with the early years of the mission when most sites were remote sensing only.

This is an update to sol 2604, with recent positions updated using the new JPL maps. My overestimate of the drive above was caused by a bad location in my map of the previous location.
