Interesting excerpts:

"Faint dust-devil tracks across El Dorado are visible in MOC image R02-00357." - But where?

"Saltating particles: Particles > 80 microns, which move primarily by saltation. Saltating particles are seen to reach rover deck, a meter above the surface." - They talk about bouncing grains?

"... some spherules are surrounded by a later generation cement. This requires multiple episodes of groundwater percolation following sand deposition." - Where are images of this spherules type?

"The volcanic model, however, is simpler and more straightforward, and invokes only processes known to occur widely elsewhere on the planets, and therefore appears to be the more likely explanation for the chemical composition of Meridiani bedrocks" - The Great Meridiani Debate

Some wide brightness-range versions of R02-00357 and E03-00012 are available in the Ultreya Abyss thread. R02-00357 shows one very dark streak and several smaller ones. E03-00012 shows some streaks as well, but in different locations.

Which abstract is this in?

I have argued that crusts seen in the MI images at the Opportunity site have the appearance of biological or sedimentary origin:
