Hi guys, there is a very old Spirit photo making the rounds of the British tabloids today, one in which the rover tracks look (in a euphemism written by Alan Boyle, to whom I'm very grateful) like "a bat and two balls." I was going to write about it to explain the photo but now I don't have to, thanks to Alan. What I would like to do is to actually add value by posting some more images of things drawn in the sand by Spirit (or Opportunity) .... hopefully things that are a little less embarrassing. Which is why I'm posting here. Anybody recall any other interesting pictures drawn in the dirt, or want to take a trip down memory lane to look through Spirit's images to find some?

You read the British tabloids? Why? I live here and I've managed to avoid doing that for half a century, thank goodness.

Opportunity did some dance moves on the rim of Victoria crater, as I recall. I'm sure members will locate the images.

You read the British tabloids?

Millions and millions of people do, all over the world - and they believe what they read.
