Another Earth-year passes by and UMSF reaches another milestone on February 8th - nine years of just being amazing! smile.gif

Every UMSF'er should send their thanks to Doug (djellison) and all those early contributors and image wizards for building something that has brought so many thousands from all around the world together to share in the fun, excitement and wonder of space exploration.

Looking forward to our mutual 10th birthday. biggrin.gif

Don't say this about many things at all, but UMSF has actually changed my life in some terrific ways.

Have seen wonders (daily!), have gained understanding, have had some unforgettable experiences (the Phoenix & Curiosity landings as two standout examples!), have met some incredible people.

And all I did was stumble upon it looking for some thesis ideas... tongue.gif

Doug, you created something truly special here. Not a lot of people can ever say that. Thank you.

(And the banner totally rocks, Astro0!)

QUOTE (tdemko @ Feb 9 2013, 09:14 AM) *
Happy 9th from Member No. 9!

And from No. (1)32!

By the way, I've had the urge several times to swipe away the dark moons on either side of Pioneer, thinking they were drops of coffee on my tablet. laugh.gif
